RMS Safer Drivers Course Lambton

The safer drivers course was designed by the Roads & maritime services and is sometimes referred to as the RMS safer drivers course. The safer drivers course consists of two modules. Both modules must bee completed to get your 20 log book hours.

Module 1

Is a group discussion conducted by a trained facilitator in a class room. Participants are able to explore the various risk factors that lead to motor vehicle accidents and learn how they can reduce those risks. The facilitator uses videos and group discussions to give participants a better understanding of safe driving strategies in a relaxed and stress free environment.

Module 2

Is conducted over a two hour period in a car fitted with dual controls. Participants are paired up and given the opportunity to apply the safe driving strategies learnt in Module 1 under the guidance of a qualified driving instructor.
